Privacy Policy

MyPocketRx is built on a single principle: your health data belongs to you. We designed the app from the ground up to keep your medication information on your device, under your control.
Data Storage
All medication data, dose logs, and personal health information are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. MyPocketRx does not store your health data on any server. We do not have access to your medication records.
Emergency QR Tokens
When you generate an Emergency QR Code, the medication snapshot you choose to share is embedded in a cryptographically signed token. This token is stored only on your device and expires after 48 hours. No medication data is persisted on our servers.
Notifications
Dose reminder notifications are generated locally on your device using Apple's UserNotifications framework. We do not use third-party push notification services that would transmit your medication schedule to any server.
Analytics
MyPocketRx does not collect behavioral analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or any similar service.
Contact Form
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are transmitted to us via Resend for the sole purpose of responding to your inquiry. This data is not shared with third parties and is deleted after your inquiry is resolved.
HIPAA Notice
MyPocketRx is a consumer wellness app, not a Covered Entity under HIPAA. However, we are committed to the principles of HIPAA's Privacy Rule: minimum necessary data, user control, and no sale of health information.
Children's Privacy
MyPocketRx is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
